A: Currently, buying and selling is limited to our mobile app. You can view everything that is for sale on our website, but to buy or sell you have to download the (free) app! Download the app and get started today! Anybody can buy at any time, but to sell there is a simple storefront setup process that takes just a few minutes.

A: We make reasonable efforts to ensure that legal and safe transactions occur on our platform by limiting listings to pre-selected categories that are generally acceptable cottage baked goods. Q: How much is goodiesmith going to cost me?
A: We charge the seller a flat 10% fee for every transaction. That is it.

Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: Given the nature of food preparation and custom orders, we want to respect everyone’s time and not be wasteful of any prepared food, but also recognize you may change your mind. You always have 1 hour to cancel any order placed on goodiesmith, no questions asked. Additionally, each order is confirmed by the seller before the transaction occurs, so you can also cancel anytime before the seller confirms your order.

Q: What happens if I don’t receive my order or am not satisfied?
A: Any violation of the terms of service (link) (e.g. non-delivery, misleading product description, etc.) will result in a 100% refund. Contact us within 72 hours of the transaction time via our website or app and we will work with you to make it right.

Q: What happens if the buyer is a no show?
A: We ask that sellers be as flexible as possible, but both parties are responsible to uphold any arrangements made. We cannot provide refunds to the buyer, or hold the seller responsible, if the buyer fails to pick up their product or is unavailable during delivery.

Q: Who handles the payment processing?
A: We partner with Sttripe, a well known and respected payment processor (give it a google if you aren’t familiar), to safely and securely handle all payment processing. We do not have access to any of your financial information, ever.

Q: Do I have to pay sales tax?
A: Our payment processor automatically collects sales tax (if applicable) and will provide you with regular statements.

A: Regular financial statements (earnings, taxes, etc.) are provided by the payment processor. Annual reports are also available.
